Expert Searching

Before You Start Searching…

  • have a clear and concise understanding of your research question;
  • be able to describe the scope of your project, including limits on the body of literature;
  • brainstorm variations of search terminology;
  • look at relevant literature in the field to understand how the topic is discussed.

The content on this guide will help you approach all of these steps with delibration and forethought.
